When it is so scary. Magic Game.
Meeting the evacuated children from the orphanage of the city of Dnieper.
These are videos with children of 10 to 12 years old
As soon as we delivered the equipment for online classes to the orphanage we began meeting the children and created an educational program Kobzariki for them.
The key purpose of the program is to reduce children’s stress, fill their hearts with light and love, preserve their ability to enjoy life and teach them to cope with difficult situations.
Watch this episode of our meeting in which the children answer the question “What helps a person to remain strong in the time of hardships?”
What really struck me is that as soon as I asked this question suddenly in a complete silence one of the kids uttered, “Mama…”
I was confused… I paused… The fact is that it is them who are growing up without parents. Many of their parents were deprived of their parental rights yet the importance of a mother, the belief that the mother will help still remains in the heart of this boy.
“But what are you going to do if your mother is not around? What will help you to be strong?”
Watch this video and you will learn how especially in the time of war we can explain children how to act in difficult situations to preserve and regain the strength of mind.
We teach children to enjoy life bringing them light, peace and kindness. This year schools in Ukraine will provide educational processes online. Orphanage Do Vira has forty-eight students of different ages. They don’t have laptops or tablets that are necessary for them to participate in online lessons. We are actively collecting donations to ensure the learning process for them. Together with volunteers we do everything we can. Every dollar matters to us. We will be grateful for any financial and informational assistance.
Also, I would like to tell you more about our work and plans. Together we can help more children in Ukraine who experiencing a terrible time and bearing the heavy burden of war.
There are 69,000 orphans in Ukraine today. Only in the last five months of the war another 1,735 children became orphans. (Data provided by Ukrainian Ministry of Social Policy on August 2022).
The war will end sooner or later! Ukraine must have healthy, educated children, whose hearts will be with love, mercy and kindness. They will continue the path of freedom and create the happy, peaceful Ukraine!
If my story touches your heart and you are ready to help these children ASAP, you can make a donation easier online by visiting our website or send check to the Umbrella of Ukrainian Hope.
